Here are the answers to a couple of questions -- hope it helps you create your own John Deere delicacy!

The icing is butter cream and was tinted with Wilton's Kelly Green icing colors to achieve the John Deere Green and Lemon Yellow for the JD Yellow. The logos on the cake are plastic cupcake toppers purchased on eBay. The tractor, farmers, horses and fence were a set we purchased at a local John Deere distributor. They can also be found online. The cakes are 6" round, 8" round and 10" round layers. The textured look on the tiers was achieved using a Wilton texture tool. The border was created using shell tips and two pastry bags - one with green icing and the other with yellow and alternating the shell.Jenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06062457754977337904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-158317805591211908.post-68874498356184262902012-05-05T02:00:27.376-04:002012-05-05T02:00:27.376-04:00Hello, my sons birthday is next week and he will b...Hello, my sons birthday is next week and he will be turning two.
