Today was the Harvest Hoe Down at our 4 year old's pre-school. We originally made the chicken costume for this event, however Demi overheard her teacher tell another parent that the kids could wear whatever costume they like -- it didn't have to be the previously requested farmer or farm animal. Well, that sealed the chicken's fate!
So, Princess Jasmine went to school today! After school we changed her into her chicken costume and trick-or-treated the grandparents and a couple of friends. She shook her tailfeathers at my Mom's office at the University of Florida Foundation and pretty much cleaned out their candy supply! The sugar induced coma kicked in shortly thereafter and a nap was in order -- for all of us.
