Welcome to Day 5 -- the last day of my week-long birthday card bash. Thanks for stopping by! I had a wonderful birthday yesterday. A low-key day followed by a wonderful dinner prepared by Dee. Tonight I'm celebrating with family at my favorite local Sushi restaurant. YUM!
I could think of no better way to celebrate than with a week-long celebration with my bloggy buddies! A different card each and every day and a small piece of blog candy, too. And at the end of the week . . . a special gift drawn by random.org from all the party-goers!

This card was created for another June baby in our family, Dee's sister-in-law Bridget.
This card measures 5 1/2" square and is made with plain white card stock. The mat was made up of two pieces of card stock -- the patterned paper is by Heidi Grace Designs and the green is Bazzill's Petty Cash. A pink grosgrain ribbon with hot pink stitching hides the seam. All of the cuts on the card front are from Create-A-Critter. The zebra measures 3 1/2" high and "Go Wild" is 1 7/8" high.

The zebra striped paper is from a paper pack I purchased from Creative Memories about 6 or 7 years ago. The rest of the papers are from my scrap stash. The flowers inside were punched with my Sizzix -- in the days before I owned a Cricut -- and are held together with a flower brad. The inside sentiment was computer generated. A little pen doodling and pen stitching complete this fun card.
You can't have a birthday without some presents! So each day this week, Monday through Friday, there will be a little blog candy for you to win. And then at the end of my birthday bash there will be a grand prize winner drawn from all the participants during the week. ** Check back tomorrow for the special gift reveal! ** The comments section for each day will stay open until 10:00 a.m. EST on Monday, June 27th. Winners for each day and the grand prize winner will be announced later that day.
To be eligible for the prizes please be a follower of my blog and leave a comment with your e-mail address. You can increase your chances, of course, by commenting on each day's post. Today's blog candy is a 10 piece set of clear stamps by Inkadinkadoo .
Thanks again for stopping by and helping me celebrate my birthday!

Love your doodling and that zebra is adorable!
ReplyDeleteCute zebra. That is my daughter's favorite animal too. Did you know there is a farm not far from you that raised zebras for movies? (I live in Ocala.)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win some goodies.
