For all of you who have been praying for my nephew, Evan -- thank you! He was released from the NICU on Monday. Breathing on his own and all of the tubes, monitors and other paraphernalia are gone. My brother and sister-in-law are so relieved to finally bring their little boy home. And his two big sisters are both clamoring to help Mommy with baby "brudda." We finally got to see him today (haven't seen him since the evening he was born -- Jan. 14) and hold him for the first time. So sweet! So again, thank so much for your prayers -- they truly made all the difference!
Don't you just want to smooch those cheeks!!! His big sister Lexie had those pinchable cheeks, too! To look at him now, you'd never know he was born 6 weeks early and had to fight for every breath he took.
You may notice that the blog looks a little different. Same color scheme and new fonts -- nothing dramatic! Just needed some freshening up!
