Create-A-Critter Birthday Card

Just a quick post to share this birthday card I made for my older daughter. Today she turns 27! I can hardly believe it!

Emily loves cats just as much as I do, so this is a purrrfect card for her. This little guy looks like my crafting assistant, O'Malley. (Although his cheeks aren't nearly as rosy as this paper rendition's cheeks are!)

I used the Create-A-Critter (CAC) and Just Because Cards (JBC) cartridges. The striped mat is from JBC and is cut at 5" tall x 3 3/4" wide.  The cat, hat, pinwheel and "Go Wild" sentiment are all from CAC. The cat is 2 1/2" tall; the hat is 1 1/4" tall and is pop-dotted; the pinwheel is 2" tall and has a button with some fibers tied thru the holes; the sentiment is about 3 1/2" wide x 2 1/2" tall and I chalked the edges after I did some pen doodling.

The letters on the front are alphabet stickers -- Making Memories, 7/16" Alpha Asphalt. All of the papers are from my scrap stash!

Thanks for taking a look!  And make sure you check back soon for more Valentine's Day projects. Don't forget, next weekend -- February 12 & 13 is the Cooking With Cricut Sweet Shop Blog Hop!!!
